![]() | About UsBrereton Equestrian is a small family run yard based in Brereton, Cheshire. We thrive on providing the best care for every horse or pony that comes on to our yard. Every one of our ponies are much loved family members no matter how long or short there stay with us here at Brereton. We believe in gaining a strong bond and good handling on the ground before progressing onto ridden work, so the horse and rider get the best out of each other. We also offer a range of livery options including Backing, schooling and rehabilitation livery specially tailored to yours and your horse or ponies individuals needs. If you are looking for a pony for sale or loan please do not hesitate to contact us as we always have something available. All potential new owners and Loaners will be subject to home checks and references as 5* lives for all our horses is of most importance.
We specialise in ponies, especially ones that haven't had the best starts in life, as this is our passion. We also occasionally have room to take in rescues, have a look at our rescues page and please get in touch if you feel we could help any ponies in need. |
The yard is run by Paula and Ben, the yard and ponies are there life and they are very passionate about what they do. Paula has studied equine management and worked on a number of different yards and rode for various local competition riders as well as having her own horses before taking on the Brereton yard, her main passions are welsh ponies and ex racehorses. Ben has previously worked on a racing yard as well as having his own horses, his main passions are Dales ponies and natural horsemanship techniques which he regular uses on all the ponies here at Brereton.
The ponies here at Brereton all live out in groups where possible as we believe this is the best and most natural way for them to live, they also all have a varied exercise routine tailored to each of there individual needs and the youngsters are all turned away until there atleast 3 years old to allow them time to mature, aswell as time to play an enjoy being youngsters together.
